Variable Flavor Remix: Development of a system for improvisational remixing of songs requested by the audience using sound source separation technology

In this research, we use a loop sound source extraction algorithm to create a loop sound source with 8 beats of periodicity for a song requested by an audience (such as an online live audience) through a music streaming service.We used a sound source separation model based on deep learning to create a looped sound source for each of the four instruments (Bass, Drum, Vocal, and Other). This made it possible to improvise, edit, superimpose, and play (remix) multiple songs
